After School Care
Our Philosophy
BOLCCC After School Care Program is affiliated with Bread of Life Church in Torrance. We are Christ-Centered and Child-Centered care givers. We not only provide basic child care and academic tutoring for children, we also teach them to know God’s love and to understand that they are unique individuals created and loved by Him.
Our staff are professionally trained teachers knowledgeable in Child Development. They are lovingly and willingly serving the children in Christ.

After School Care
Program Details
During Regular School Days
During the regular school year, we provide after-school care service for children from 5 to 12 years old regardless of race and religion. The center opens from 1:50 PM to 5:30 PM during regular school days and provides:
- Homework help
- Reading
- Extracurricular activities: Chess, Drawing, Arts and Crafts, Chinese, and Soccer
- Chapel time: Bible stories, Bible verses, Praise Songs, and Hymns
- Games
Transportation Service
We offer pickup service for children from the following Torrance Unified School District elementary schools:
- Arnold Elementary
- Anza Elementary
- Hickory Elementary
- Walteria Elementary

Full Day Service
During Student Free Days, Spring Break, & some Holidays
The center also provides Full Day Service from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on student-free days, winter break, spring break, summer break, and the following holidays: Veterans Day, day before Thanksgiving, and Lincoln’s Birthday.
The Full Day Service program includes:
- Theme reading and discussion
- Academic Worksheets
- Journal writing
- Outings (Parks / Libraries)
- Video
- Arts and Craft / Cooking Project
- Board Games
Our After-School Care
Holidays
We are closed on the following holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
- Christmas Eve to New Year Day (12/24 to 1/1)
- Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday
- Presidents Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
