If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
Bread of Life Youth Ministry is a ministry of Bread of Life Church in Torrance, CA.
The vision of the youth ministry is all about Jesus. We want to know Jesus, be like Jesus, and serve Jesus. Everything that we do revolves around glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and building a community of students who would desire to follow Jesus in the midst of this fallen world. Whether you are a student looking for a local church family to call home or a student who does not yet know Jesus, we invite you to join us as we strive to be disciples of Christ. We have middle school (6th-8th), high school (9th-12th), and college communities that meet regularly and are always ready to welcome any newcomers.

The theme for this year’s retreat is Devotion and Discipline (D&D).
Location: Pine Valley Bible Conference Center (8668 Pine Creek Rd. Pine Valley, CA 91962)
Theme Verse: Psalm 119:174-176
“I long for your salvation, O Lord,
and your law is my delight.
Let my soul live and praise you,
and let your rules help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant,
for I do not forget your commandments.”
In your life, you may have had an experience of God and you may understand and believe the gospel, but perhaps that moment of assurance and passion for God has felt fleeting. Where is God in your life now? How come you don’t have that feeling towards Him that you once did?
God, in His wisdom, speaks to us in different ways at different times. Psalm 119 repeatedly emphasizes how marvelous God’s Word is. Over and over again, the psalmist declares how precious, how wonderful, how delightful it is. As Christians, that is exactly how we should view the Bible, as well. We ought to be devoted to reading Scripture, immersing ourselves in it daily, for it is God speaking to us. Our devotion to God is evidenced by our devotion to His Word and being open to God’s discipline through His instructions. At this year’s High School Winter Retreat, we will wrestle with how devoted we are to God and also look at how we can be more disciplined in living for Him.
