Get involved in your mission field!
Just as someone shared the gospel with us, we are blessed with the opportunity of proclaiming Jesus and his kingdom to others. Whether that takes us across the street or around the world, we pray that the Spirit will use our words and lives to bring others to trust in Jesus and enter into God’s kingdom.
Our church plans several short-term mission trips each summer that members may participate as senders or goers. Additionally, we host an annual Missions Emphasis Weekend in March and Missions Conference in October to learn more on how we can be a part of what God is doing around the world.

Conference
Five sessions will be held during this year’s conference on October 20-22, 2023: the first session on Friday night, two sessions on Saturday night, and two sessions in our Sunday worship services. Ted Esler will speak on this year’s theme: Revealing The Great Commission in Scripture and Its Application Today.
The Chinese Missions Conference will be on the same weekend with separate sessions.
Conference Booklet
The church missions booklet provides church members an overview of the missions ministry including its committee members, objectives, and support list. This booklet will be made available during Missions Conference Weekend.
Ted Esler

About
Ted Esler is the president of Missio Nexus, an association of agencies and churches representing over 50,000 Great Commission workers worldwide. Dr Esler became president and CEO in 2015 after serving in executive leadership with Pioneers USA and Pioneers Canada. He previously worked in the computer industry and served in Sarajevo, Bosnia, during the 1990s.
He and his wife, Annette, have five children and have been active in establishing The Living Room Orlando, a house church network in Florida.

Five sessions are offered throughout the weekend: Friday night, two sessions on Saturday night, and two sessions on Sunday morning in our worship services. We are thankful to have Jeff Iorg returning as our speaker after being our Spiritual Formation Conference speaker in January 2021.

Jeff Iorg
President, Gateway Seminary
About
Jeff Iorg is the president of Gateway Seminary and teaches leadership, preaching, and church ministry courses. His publications include nine books and dozens of articles and curriculum materials.
Early in his ministry, Dr. Iorg served as a church pastor in Texas and Missouri before founding Greater Gresham Baptist Church in Gresham, Oregon. He joined Gateway Seminary (known as Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary at the time) in 1990 and became its seventh president in 2004. He hosts a weekly radio show and podcast, Lead On, to discuss leadership, calling, and ministry.
