Get involved in your mission field!
Just as someone shared the gospel with us, we are blessed with the opportunity of proclaiming Jesus and his kingdom to others. Whether that takes us across the street or around the world, we pray that the Spirit will use our words and lives to bring others to trust in Jesus and enter into God’s kingdom.
Our church plans several short-term mission trips each summer that members may participate as senders or goers. Additionally, we host an annual Missions Emphasis Weekend in March and Missions Conference in October to learn more on how we can be a part of what God is doing around the world.
The 2022 English Missions Conference will be on October 14-16. The first session will be on Friday night with two sessions in the Sunday morning worship services. Three workshops will be held on Saturday.
The Chinese Missions Conference will be on October 21-23.
The church missions booklet provides church members an overview of the missions ministry including its committee members, objectives, and support list. This booklet will be made available during Missions Conference Weekend.
Wycliffe Bible Consultant and Translator
Jamie Farr grew up in a missionary family to Papua New Guinea. He and his wife, Anita, joined Wycliffe in 1998. Jamie’s background in various cultures and diverse leadership opportunities help him bring a different exposure to those considering global impact with their lives. Both Jamie and Anita have a breadth of experience in education, training, and leadership.
In 2021, Jamie began a new role as Strategic Innovation Consultant with Wycliffe. Jamie primarily focuses on global strategies to see that every community gets access to some portion of the Bible by 2033. He helps to facilitate conversations between organizations and local church leaders primarily in the pacific area.
