AWANA is our Friday night ministry to train families to treasure Jesus as Lord and to influence others for God’s kingdom through the biblical truth that children learn through knowing God’s word in order to know, love, and serve God in their lives.

Our Goals

1. Familiarize children with Jesus Christ and the Bible.
2. Prepare children to realize that they are sinners and need to trust Christ as Savior.

3. Assist children in establishing Christian peer groups.
4. Involve parents in their children’s spiritual, intellectual, and social development.

AWANA CLUBS

CUBBIES
Preschool (3-5 Yrs)

celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.

SPARKS
K-2nd Grade

ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

3rd-5th Grade

teaches kids the truth of God's Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.

Schedule

Our Awana program is offered 7:20-9:00pm on Friday nights (7:20-8:30p for Cubbies) beginning in September and ending in June. Special themed events are planned throughout the year.

Activity Segments

Game Time

teaches teamwork, encourages sportsmanship, and builds character through participation.

Handbook Time

helps the children memorize and understand key Bible verses that instructs them how to know and follow God. Trained leaders assist children to complete assignments from the AWANA curriculum.

Large Group Time

provides a gathering for children and leaders to meet for a practical Bible message, songs, activities, and award presentations.

Registration

Child Registration

The maximum number of registered children varies each year depending on the number of volunteers and available rooms. A nominal registration fee is charged for each child.

Awana is a program requiring a high level of parental participation including working on sections at home with your children, completing tasks as laid out in the handbooks with your children, and volunteering a certain amount of time with Awana as decided by the directors/leaders dependent upon need.
