Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Matthew 9:37-38

Harvest Festival

What is it?

Bread of Life Church’s Harvest Festival is our Halloween alternative designed to give families a safe way to celebrate the good things God and our culture have given us! Like a small carnival, we will have various games, crafts, and food. Children may collect candy and prizes by playing the games!

When is it?

October 31, 2021
2:00-5:00 PM

General Information

Who is Invited?

All families and friends!

Most of our games and crafts are geared for children 6th grade and under, but older families are definitely also welcome!

Can I Costume Up?

We encourage costumes, but as this is a child-friendly event, please make sure all costumes are tasteful, appropriate, and not scary for children.

How Much Does it Cost?

Admission is FREE!

How can I volunteer?

YES! Please sign up to volunteer HERE!

Though the event itself will be from 2-5p, volunteers will be needed from 1-6p to also help us with set up and clean up.

When is Mandatory volunteer training?

Oct 29, 6:30-7:30p

Format & Safety Information

What regulations will you have?

Everyone entering the event will be required to be masked at all times.

Although children will collect candy, we ask that no one eats while at the event to ensure maximum safety for all other families and our volunteers.

What will the event look like this year?

To ensure social distancing, all families who intend to come will be required to register for an arrival time. Please make sure to arrive ON TIME to ensure your family has adequate time to complete all the booths prior to the next group.

All families will be required to move together at all times (family pods), and only one family will be allowed at one booth at a time.

Where will it be?

East Parking Lot of Bread of Life Church

Please bring your registration confirmation email so we can check that you have arrived at the right time and are registered. In case there is a case of COVID, we will also be able to contact all families who may have been in the event at that time.

How many booths are there?

12 game booths, 2 craft booths (take home), 1 photobooth, 1 gift booth

At all game booths, prizes will be candy and small toys so this can be a Halloween alternative to families who prefer not to Trick-or-Treat. However, we do ask that families do not eat while at the event so that everyone can remain masked.

Although we cannot provide a Preschool game section as usual, all games are designed with easier version for younger kids and harder version for older kids.

What other safety measures will there be?

All of our staff will go through training, and are also required to either be vaccinated or submit proof of a negative test for COVID 72 hours prior to the event. We hope that this will help keep everyone as safe as possible.

Will I have enough time to finish all of the booths?

As this is our first time attempting a COVID-friendly Harvest Fest, we do anticipate there may be some logistic issues that may come up, so although we have tried our best to plan accordingly, we appreciate your grace and understanding if there is a wait or if your family isn’t able to finish every booth! Thank you!

Where can I register my family?

Please register HERE!

Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the time you have selected so we have some time to check your registration. Your family will have 30 minutes to complete the event. (e.g. Register for 2:00p, come prior to 1:55p, and you will have between 2:00-2:30p to complete the event and exit prior to the next group).

Please register for only ONE (1) spot for your entire family! We are trying to accommodate as many families as possible, so please also let us know if you change your mind and need to cancel a reservation so we can make space for additional families!
