於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

眾城門哪，你們要抬起頭來！永久的門戶，你們要把頭抬起！那榮耀的王將要進來 ！

榮耀的王是誰呢？萬軍之耶和華，他是榮耀的王！（細拉）

Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah – Psalm 24: 9, 10

Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. – Psalm 25: 3, 4

凡遵守他的約和他法度的人，耶和華都以慈愛誠實待他。

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. – Psalm 25: 10

耶和華與敬畏他的人親密；他必將自己的約指示他們。

The friendship[b] of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. – Psalm 25: 14
