於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

耶和華啊，求你不要向我止住你的慈悲！願你的慈愛和誠實常常保佑我！

因我的仇敵不得向我誇勝，我從此便知道你喜愛我。

你因我純正就扶持我，使我永遠站在你的面前。

By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. But you have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in your presence forever. – Psalm 41: 11, 12
