於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

錫安山─大君王的城，在北面居高華美，為全地所喜悅。

 神在其宮中，自顯為避難所。

beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King. Within her citadels God has made himself known as a fortress. – Psalm 48: 2, 3

 神啊，我們在你的殿中想念你的慈愛。

 神啊，你受的讚美正與你的名相稱，直到地極！你的右手滿了公義。

We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple. As your name, O God, so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness. – Psalm 48: 9, 10

5/1/26 ¦ 詩篇 第49篇: 1~9節 ¦ 禱讀 49: 6, 7節

那些倚仗財貨自誇錢財多的人，

一個也無法贖自己的弟兄，也不能替他將贖價給 神，

those who trust in their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches? Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life, – Psalm 49: 6, 7

5/2/26 ¦ 詩篇 第49篇: 10~20節 ¦ 禱讀 49: 16, 17節

見人發財、家室增榮的時候，你不要懼怕；

因為，他死的時候甚麼也不能帶去；他的榮耀不能隨他下去。

Be not afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases. For when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not go down after him. – Psalm 49: 16, 17
