因為我們得知真道以後,若故意犯罪,贖罪的祭就再沒有了;
落在永生 神的手裡,真是可怕的!
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, … It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. – Hebrews 10: 26,31
所以,你們不可丟棄勇敢的心;存這樣的心必得大賞賜。

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. – Hebrews 11: 6
亞伯拉罕因著信,蒙召的時候就遵命出去,往將來要得為業的地方去;出去的時候,還不知往那裡去。
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. – Hebrews 11: 8
他們卻羨慕一個更美的家鄉,就是在天上的。所以 神被稱為他們的 神,並不以為恥,因為他已經給他們預備了一座城。

Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed. …A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. – Proverbs 11:11, 13
心中乖僻的,為耶和華所憎惡;行事完全的,為祂所喜悅。
The LORD detests those whose hearts are perverse, but He delights in those whose ways are blameless. – Proverbs 11:20
好施捨的,必得豐裕;滋潤人的,必得滋潤。倚仗自己財物的,必跌倒;義人必發旺如青葉。
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. …Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf. – Proverbs 11:25, 28
惡人傾覆,歸於無有;義人的家,必站得住。耕種自己田地的,必得飽食;追隨虛浮的,卻是無知。
The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm. …Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense. – Proverbs 12:7, 11
愚妄人所行的,在自己眼中看為正直;惟智慧人,肯聽人的勸教。愚妄人的惱怒,立時顯露;通達人能忍辱藏羞。
The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult. – Proverbs 12:15~16
殷勤人的手必掌權;懶惰的人必服苦。人心憂慮,屈而不伸;一句良言,使心歡樂。
Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor. Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. – Proverbs 12:24~25
謹守口的,得保生命;大張嘴的,必致敗亡。懶惰人羨慕,卻無所得;殷勤人必得豐裕。
Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. – Proverbs 13:3~4
驕傲只啟爭競;聽勸言的,卻有智慧。
Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. – Proverbs 13:10
