於是耶穌對門徒說：若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，背起他的十字架來跟從我。人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. … What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? – Matthew 16:24, 26

惡人借貸而不償還；義人卻恩待人，並且施捨。

義人的腳步被耶和華立定；他的道路，耶和華也喜愛。

The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives; … The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; – Psalm 37: 21, 23

義人必承受地土，永居其上。

義人的口談論智慧；他的舌頭講說公平。

The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. – Psalm 37: 29, 30

但義人得救是由於耶和華；他在患難時作他們的營寨。

耶和華幫助他們，解救他們；他解救他們脫離惡人，把他們救出來，因為他們投靠他。

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. – Psalm 37: 39, 40

我要承認我的罪孽；我要因我的罪憂愁。

拯救我的主啊，求你快快幫助我！

I confess my iniquity; I am sorry for my sin. … Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation! – Psalm 38: 18, 22

你使我的年日窄如手掌；我一生的年數，在你面前如同無有。各人最穩妥的時候，真是全然虛幻。（細拉）

世人行動實係幻影。他們忙亂，真是枉然；積蓄財寶，不知將來有誰收取。

Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah Surely a man goes about as a shadow! Surely for nothing [Hebrew Surely as a breath] they are in turmoil; man heaps up wealth and does not know who will gather! – Psalm 39: 5, 6

4/11/26 ¦ 詩篇 第39篇: 7~13節 ¦ 禱讀 39: 7, 9節

主啊，如今我等甚麼呢？我的指望在乎你！

因我所遭遇的是出於你，我就默然不語。

“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you. … I am mute; I do not open my mouth, for it is you who have done it. – Psalm 39: 7, 9
