Short-Term Missions
(STM)
Seeking to expand God’s kingdom
By forming and sending mission teams that serve from one day up to weeks at a time, we aim to provide short-term opportunities that allow individuals and families to see and participate in what God is doing around the world. Some are recurring trips to familiar countries that strengthen established relationships with local churches while others are more pioneering in nature.
We welcome all those interested in joining a team, regardless of age or experience. For each mission trip, please expect a sufficient amount of time dedicated to training and preparation. Contact team leaders for more information.
2026 Mission Trips
The Philippines
We are privileged to partner with our two sister churches in the Philippines, Bread of Life Christian Church–Don Pedro and Bread of Life Christian Church–St. John. In addition to their church-based ministries, we will see how God is presently working through their mission outreach efforts.

Germany
Reaching out to Chinese Students in several cities (Jena, Weimar, Erfurt) in East Germany. Outreach activities include morning prayer, bible studies, testimony sharing, student visitation, hospitality, evangelism and discipleship.
Yong-Li Yang and Gary Lin (husband and wife) are in Germany serving the students. Gospel center is located on the 4th floor with no elevator. They welcome couples or sisters (max 2) or brothers (max 2) to serve for 2 weeks in April–June or October–December.
Japan
We will be working with a local missionary to reach out to the young people in Tokyo. Young people are encouraged to join in.

Hong Kong
Little known fact: We have more than 20 sister churches in Hong Kong who are faithfully proclaiming the good news of Jesus in their own country and beyond. During our short-term mission trip, we will learn about and participate in some of their ministries.

Taiwan
The Taiwan STM will visit 5 or more cities to offer student English Camps. We expect 30 to 35
elementary students at each camp. Participants between 12-17 years old must be accompanied
by their parents.
Mexico
The “El Porvenir” Summer Mission to San Telmo, Mexico is an education-based mission program in San Telmo, Mexico. We will minister to children thru God’s Words, education (English, dance, art, science, service), discipleship, and play.
Myanmar/Laos
All participants will travel to Bangkok, Thailand for a 3-day training program. Then all participants will be divided into two teams:
One team will travel to Yangon, Myanmar where in partnership with a local pastor, will minister to displaced youth and underprivileged people living in slums. This will include medical and dental ministry.
The second team will travel to Laos and minister to different churches serving the Hmong minority communities. The Hmongs are underprivileged and often persecuted people in South East Asia.
2020 Summer Mission Trips
Myanmar/Laos

Indonesia
Community outreach (evangelism, testimonies, visitations, children’s Sunday school services and orphanage service with Muslim friends and Chinese in the city of Medan and suburbs). Participating in mission conferences (topics include mission in the AI era, mission to Muslims in the Middle East and mission opportunities in Indonesia).
