Church Ministry Update – Returning to Live Services

June 12, 2020 | Dan Low

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are so looking forward to seeing you very soon as we restart our worship services starting on Sunday, July 5, 2020. With a limited seating capacity, we will begin the process of weekly registrations on June 15 (for our services on July 5). You can easily register by our church app (BOL Church Torrance) or website (breadoflifechurch.org). If your first choice for a worship service has reached its capacity, please check for another service that may still have seats available. We truly appreciate your flexibility to join us at a time that’s different from your usual time of worship. Please reach out to one of our staff members if you have any questions about the registration process.

We currently have two services in Cantonese (Sunday: 9:15 am, 11:15 am), three services in English (Saturday: 5 pm; Sunday: 9:15 am, 11:15 am), and two services in Mandarin (Saturday: 7 pm; Sunday: 11:15 am). After our first weekend back at church, reservations will open on Monday for the following Saturday/Sunday worship services.

Once you arrive at our church:

  • Please remember to wear a FACIAL COVERING while on our church campus (ages 3 and older). Facial coverings will be worn during our meetings (including singing).
  • Enter through the DESIGNATED DOOR for your worship service. (1) SANCTUARY: East parking lot door. (2) CHAPEL: South parking lot door. (3) 129/135: Emergency door to room 135. A temperature check will be taken at each entrance. We will also confirm your registration for the service.
  • Maintain 6 feet of PHYSICAL DISTANCING from anyone outside of your family.

Our live stream services will continue:

  • English at 9:15 am
  • Cantonese at 9:15 am
  • Mandarin at 11:15 am

As we slowly return to meet together in person as a church family, we continue to trust God for his wisdom, guidance, and protection. While connecting through virtual means has been invaluable, we have also felt a much deeper appreciation for the greater joy of actually being together and seeing each other’s faces (even with facial coverings).

Rejoicing in the hope and peace that we share together in Jesus,

Bread of Life Ministerial Staff
