Dominick Hernández is an associate professor of Old Testament and Semitics at Talbot School of Theology, director of Talbot en Español, an author, and editor of The Bulletin for Biblical Research. With early interests in athletics, music, and languages, he studied health and physical education with the intent of coaching and teaching which led him to pursue degrees in kinesiology and physical education. Subsequently, Dr Hernández shifted his focus toward ministry, particularly the historical and linguistic contexts of the Bible in its ancient Near Eastern context. He joins us to speak on the theme, Beyond the Ashes: Honesty, Defiance, and Human Limits in Job, in 3 sessions on Friday, January 30, and Sunday, February 1.
